- Images are: 1. Scene probably taken from a train window of sloping countryside dotted with structures 2. Two unidentified women sitting in a hammock in a yard next to an ivy trellised porch 3. Pedestrians at a train station 4. Two women in a yard with a great deal of foliage and a hydrangea bush (same house appears in no. 2) 5. Looking across a railroad bridge; stop sign on the lower right. Photographs from a disassembled album, original order maintained. Contains local scenes and individuals as well as family trips showing Arthur G. Stivers, his wife Sarah Frances Pickens Stivers, older son Winthrop, younger son Frank, older daughter Bertha, and younger daughter Ruth, among others. The album consists of 42 sheets measuring 28 x 35 cm. (11 x 13 3/4 in.). Many images are silvering out.
