- View is from The New York Peace monument looking toward a group standing next to the cannon of "Garrity's" Alabama Battery. The monument on Lookout Mountain was erected in 1907. Point Park is part of the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, created in 1890 and dedicated in 1895. Photographer's stamp verso "Englerth's March 16, 1935, 722 Cherry Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee." Also handwritten description of location.
