- 2 views of Orchard Knob Reservation. Top view shows cannon with Illinois Monument. Bottom view shows view from Ivy Street and Orchard Knob Avenue looking into Reservation, showing gate and monuments. Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park was created by an Act of Congress in 1890 and dedicated in 1895. Orchard Knob was added to the park in 1894. Most of the park is in Catoosa and Walker counties, Georgia, with some sections on Lookout Mountain and in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Photos originally published in Art Work of Chattanooga, Tennessee (Gravure Illustration Company, 1917).
