3 views of Wilder Brigade monument (also called Wilder Tower), completed 1903, in the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park: 1. Color postcard showing Wilder Brigade monument. Printed on the top left corner of the postcard: "Wilder's Tower, Chickamauga Bluff, Chattanooga Tenn."; postcard ca. 1910. 2. Black and white postcard showing Wilder Brigade monument and two automobiles, ca. 1935. Second copy on verso, mounted with 00005855. 3. Color postcard with white border, ca. 1915 showing Wilder Brigade monument and cannon. Printed at bottom of postcard "13456 Widow Glenn's Hill, showing Wilder Monument, Chickamauga, Ga." and "Copr Detroit Publishing Co." The first national military park, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park was created by an Act of Congress in 1890 and dedicated in 1895. The majority of the park is located in Catoosa and Walker Counties, Georgia, but some sections are in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, while others are in and around Chattanooga, Tennessee.
