- Boiler company founded by M. G. Weidner and Patrick Walsh located at West Montgomery (now Main) and Belt Railroad, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Begun 1890, company consolidated with Casey-Hedges Company in 1928 and was eventually sold to Combustion Engineering in 1938. Printed on the photograph: "View showing splitting shear in main boiler shop," and "The Walsh & Weidner Boiler Co. Chattanooga, Tenn. Boilers without an equal."
