- Whiteside Street Methodist Episcopal Church, South, located at 608 Whiteside Street (later Broad Street), Chattanooga, Tennessee. Organized in 1871, this church was built in 1892; ca. 1926 it became Broad Street Methodist Church. In 1952 it became Hamlett Chapel C.M.E. (Colored Methodist Episcopal); torn down in 1960 for the building of the freeway. Published inHistory of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South in Chattanooga and Suburbs (Chattanooga Church Extension, 1909). Negative is filed in 8 x 10 negative box.
