The building was erected in 1949-1950 and was purchased for Tennessee state offices in 1980-1981. Photograph from one volume of eight scrapbooks compiled by E. Y. Chapin, Walter Cline, and Frank F. Stoops of the Chattanooga Half Century Club. Vertical cracks where photograph had been folded.
